Notes on S3E4

My first notes on S3E4

"Every since the sky went purple, we’ve been blind and coms’ (communications) been down." So the implosion/incident killed their communications?

On that note… (Referring back to E3 for a minute)

Did anyone notice that the last date drop Ben gave Jack was the reelection of Bush? That was on Nov 2, 2004. So basically we have NO IDEA if the “real/outside island” world is still there!!! They LOST all communication of the “real/outside island” since the implosion.

Note the operating room *Do zoology operating rooms have observatories?*

The island they are on is supposed to be twice the size of Alcatraz? That is VERY small.

Alcatraz Island - The official land area is 76,316 square meters (0.0763 km², 0.0295 square mile, or 18.86 acres).

Quote from Ben Linus (Benry) “The only way to gain a con mans respect is to con him. And your pretty good sawyer, but we're better.” said to Sawyer. Why do they need to gain Sawyers respect?

Ok, why is the crashcart defib machine BROKE? Dont they have modern facilities? *insert sarcasm here*

The cartoon Jack is watching:
Note the buzzard planning on eating the “swans”??? Is that just swan symbolism?

Bunny rabbits…

Well here are some pics of the bunny. Funny, the number 8 seems to be in different places on the bunny. Most likely nothing but thought I would bring it up for the heck of it. :P

POOR SAWYER...he worried about the bunny! How adorable!!

And the burning question on everyone’s minds…

WHO DO THOSE XRAYS BELONG TO?????????

What do YOU think? COMMENT ME!

Good stuff...

Not sure what you're getting at with the timeframe reference, though.

They've only been on the island for 60 something days. The "sky going purple" thing only happened a few days before before this episode time-wise.

I think her point to the time reference thing is leaning toward "is the world still there?".

We have only seen two references to the "outside world" since the show started.
1) the arctic expedition
2) the red sox tv

now that there has been a "true" event and the others have no communications it's hard to tell.

NO! WAIT! LOL

The artic listening station has YET to be confirmed as to WHEN it happened. Even checked LOSTpedia on that. There is only speculation.

So, that means we only got THE ONE TIME where Benry shows Jack the video.

I don't know whose XRays they are, but I'm gonna vote no on them being Ben's, although that seems to be general consensus. Only reason I'm saying no is that anytime I thought something looked obvious to me I was wrong.

(Wow don't let me post before coffee, this is close to incoherent and I can't even think about how to make it sound better!)

I think the spinal tumor is either Ben's or Jack's (just to throw it in for irony's sake).

I want to know what's up with Desmond's ESP, too.

Very good, Lena, Funny enough I stumbled about the same stuff and even asked questions about it on the damonboard ;)
